We are a married couple from the Kootenai Valley in Libby, Montana. We raised our five children in western Montana where Dave ran a water well business for 25 years. As "empty nesters" we felt the call to go out into the world and discover what God was doing in other places. In 2008 we accepted teaching positions at an international Christian school in Seoul, South Korea. In 2009 we lived a year in the Philippines operating a children's ministry for a missionary needing to further her training. In 2010, we returned to Seoul and our teaching jobs for four more years. During this time, we continued ministries in the Philippines and branched out to partner with an organization drilling water wells in North Korea. (Love North Korea Ministries) We spent this past summer in North Korea training local drillers. (See video below.) We spent four months in the states visiting family before coming to the Philippines in January 2015. We began construction on our ministry center and spent almost four months loving the opportunities to serve here in Bohol, Philippines. May 2015 will see another shift in our ministry with us returning to North Korea to continue the water well project from May until September.
June 2016, we will return to the states for a visit. The end of June or beginning of August, Lord willing, Dave will return to North Korea for a few weeks. He will do some troubleshooting with the water well drilling crew and further training. The middle of August 2016 will find both of us employed as teachers in Seoul, South Korea. God continues to bring us back to Seoul and we are anxiously looking forward to His plan for us. We will continue to support our ministries in the Philippines and have a vision of leading a few of our Korean school alumni on a mission trip to Bohol during Christmas break.
